Saki vs. Rountree

Saki is a better fighter, but his chin is suspect and Rountree hits HARD. Both have big cardio issues, but Rountree, even gassed, is dangerous. I think Rountree is going to survive the early round and tko a gassed Saki un the 3rd.

My heart says Khalil, but my brain says Saki. He just has better technique and enough power to put Khalil on his ass. I think he gets it done early before he has a chance to get gassed.

I have to think that Rountree has the grappling advantage. I know he isn't known for it, but just based on who he has fought and trains with. If this stays standing, Saki could outpoint him or finish it. But Rountree is young at 28 and I'm interested to see improvements. Good fight.

It's pathetic when a wrestler cannot beat a K1 fighter but this is Rountree afterall.

Can't believe some of you are taking Rountree here. Saki had a two-year layoff before his last fight. He never hard cardio issues during his kickboxing career. And he's been training with Gus and Latifi. He will be ready if Rountree goes for the takedown. But Rountree won't. He's gonna do what he loves to do which is to strike.The dude left his gym. No coaches, just hitting pads in his backyard with his brother. He doesn't grapple and he's not going to here. He said it himself. He said he's going for the KO and for the fans to expect a striking battle. Huge mistake against Saki. He's going to gas himself hard in the first. His hands always go low and his power fades. He's prone to kicks and the overhand left. If Saki doesn't KO him in the first, it's the second via head kick KO or the left hook puts Rountree to sleep. Plus I'd back a gassed Gohan Saki than a gassed Khalil freakin' Rountree.

i went with henrique da silva first time, so screw it, i'm going with khalil. saki looked awesome before getting tagged and nearly finished himself. frankenstein was low tier, even for 205, and khalil has more proven power i think. if he can eat a few shots without getting immediately starched, he could end it in one punch himself.

Assuming we will see some wrestling from Khalil.... I really hope

If khalil stands, I dont think he beats saki.

Saki 100% is the better more technical fighter but i would say Rountree has more power strength and a better chin maybe a grappling advantage too but i wouldn't bet on it however both showed to have a bad gas tank so i think that Rountree could survive a fresh Saki and rally in the 2nd and 3rd and get a finish most likely either way exiting fight no matter what
