Not official yet just a rumour. Saw it around twitter. Would be a nice fight. Love both these guys though.

If Diego Sanchez can't outbox Kampmann, he's going to have a hard time with Ellenberger.  Shields' mentality was in question, but regardless, Ellenberger demolished a top 5 Welterweight.  This has potential for fight of the year.  Early prediction, Ellenberger by condition.

@crum, Ellenberger may have more power, but Kampmann is a much more technical striker than Jake.

I agree, and somehow Sanchez pulled that decision out.  You gotta think if Ellenberger can land a nice combo that he will put Sanchez away.

This is disheartening.  So much piling on Diego, one of my favorites.  I'd have to say that he is my 3rd favorite after Couture and GSP.  I won't say that the house is hating on Sanchez, but if this is lovin' him, I don't wanna see what hating looks like.

Question: When Diego fought Koscheck, was he 100% or not.  Does anyone have solid inside info on that?  Also, I'd like to see how the house ranks Sanchez, and Kos.  I will go to my grave insisting that Sanchez is the better fighter.  It makes me ill when I see people rank Kos over Sanchez.

What say you all?

I say I bought UFC 69 based solely on the Kos/Sanchez fight....Thank the Lord for Huerta/Garcia and the unthinkable Serra over GSP....otherwise I would have been pretty pissed about Sanchez/Kos talking all that **** then being too scared to actually fight each other

Was Sanchez ill when he fought Kos?  I really need to know!  The fight itself put me to sleep.  Snoozer.

That's what I read, too.  So why does that not taint Kos' win over him?  I need them to rematch.  Anyone up for him rematching Kos or Nick Diaz?

Ellenberger has every advantage except cardio. SHOULD be a relatively easy win for him.

I honestly can't see Diego being finished he's got such a chin and Ellenberger hits hard but I cant see him being able to put him away.  I'm going with Diego by decision.

Diego is going to have problems taking Ellenberger down, and Ellenberger will hurt him bad standing up.

Diego has never been properly TKO'd or KO'd before, but Ellenberger might be the man to do it.

Jake is going to wreck Diego in my opinion.
