EA MMA Game

Hey guys I just re-bought this today and been playing. Wondering if anyone else has it on 360 and wants to play online, or just what those who played it think of it compared to UFC Undisputed.

Personally I think the stand-up is basic, but I prefer it instead of on the UFC game where you just throw special punches the whole time. The actual Flash KO's and just dropping people are 10X better than UFC's because every fight in Undisputed ends with a one-punch KO, and that rarely happens IRL. The submission system is much better also imo, you can battle for like 45 seconds, in Undisputed it's a sub or not. 

The new UFC 2012 though looks like they've taken gameplay ideas from EA MMA and added in the new game like the new submission system, the PRIDE mode, etc.

that game was pretty fun, the standup fight was nice and the submission game was easier as on the ufc game...where i never scored a submission or got out of one -.- maybe i just didn't get it how to do it correctly

Na it wasn't just you daguentha, the submission system in that game was a *************. The new UFC looks like it improved alot of stuff though.

Anybody know when the new UFC is gonna come out.

yeah that sub-system just made me go crazy...beat everyone in the titledefense mode and than just at the start of the fight is get into a submission and its over...just frustrating -.-

Can't wait for Undisputed 3! It's gonna be awesome!

I might still be playing Skyrim by January, why fight Lyoto Machida when you can fight real Dragon's.

The online play alone is so much better on EA MMA than in Undisputed 2010.  The fight cards are fun as hell.  Also even though the striking is super basic, it's flow is sleek.  I don't know what you guys mean when you say 4 punches and you're gassed... maybe 4-6 missed punches, but if you're landing you can land a few good combos in succession without getting totally gassed.  Also the ground game...well yeah it's pretty weak and just a battle to see who can take who's stamina away first with body blows :/

Feel free to send me an invite or whatnot on 360 if ya got the game, my gamertag is same as here.  I'm always down for a good ole fashion barn burner...except for when I'm playing the BF3 demo now :D

I have both games and i think ea mma has the edge. its just more competitive. 2010 all you do hit buttons on your feet and wiggle a stick an the ground

everry time i play this game, it seems that theres always more characters than I remember.

That's because nobody can remember more than 4 people in each weight class that fight for SF. ;)

When you can be Bas Rutten and fight Ken Shamrock with PRIDE rules, it means the roster is ******* awesome.

Question: Does anyone have an online pass for 360 that they didn't use? I bought it from Gamestop and it didn't have an online pass.
