I see Penn more motivated than Diaz, he's finally taking his cardio seriously, Penn is not risking as much as Diaz in this fight, whatever happens he's gonna fight Fitch still, Diaz is risking a LOT in this fight, if he win he gets a little more credibility, but if he looses, there goes his title shot, it'll be just like happend to Shileds after his fight with GSP, he'll start from scratch, this is going to be an unconfortable fight for Diaz, also I think he's gonna recive much more damage against BJ than he would'va with GSP.

I can't justify picking someone who hates fighting. I questioned Penn's motivation before the fight, but I wasn't aware of Diaz's hate for fighting. To quote Dana from pretty much every TUF season. "If you didn't come here to fight, you're in the wrong f****** place". Granted Diaz is stole a great fighter, but I'm going with Penn now.

If Penn chooses to brawl with Diaz, Diaz should win but i see BJ being disciplined enough to pick his shots and score key takedowns to steal rounds with his wrestling techniques displayed in his last fight with Fitch.

Diaz works well off his back, but not well enough. BJ Penn has EXCELLENT BJJ as I'm sure everyone knows. Diaz has equally impressive BJJ but I don't see Diaz submitting Penn as I did before. The only aspect that Diaz has a clear advantage is the stamina factor. Diaz has cardio for days and Penn has been known to gas out or at least tire on occasion. We are also looking at two of the best technical boxers in the sport today, I think it's a push in that department. However I do think that Penn will catch Diaz with a nice combo off of a scramble towards the end of the 1st round and finish him with punches. Who knows though, anything could happen in this fight.

Diaz will have a reach advantage, I'll give you that, but his ground game will be nullified by Penn's superior ground game. He will likely be fighting off of his back if Penn decides to take him down, since there is no way of Diaz taking Penn down. So I think that will work to Penn's advantage.
Also, Penn has NEVER been knocked down, or out, but Diaz has like in his last fight with Daley.

@jersey.. When did Penn ever state he wants top stand and bang he said after the Fitch fight he had been abandoning his wrestling and he want's to get back to that.. So you're saying if Penn does decide to wrestle Diaz he'l win.. Right?
