This fight could put Jorge at the top of the title contender list with a win. Not so much for wb. I don't want to see Woodley vs wb 3. But then again, I can't really think of a Woodley opponent I'm looking forward to.

feels like a guaranteed decision, just a matter of who has learned more from their past performances. i want to pick wonderboy, but i think that guy is masvidal. he arguably beat demian and tried to capitalize when he could whereas wonderboy spent 25 minutes trying to execute the same gameplan that didn't really work well for the first 25 minutes.

Thompson should likely get the win here. The better overall and more diverse striker. Excellent takedown defense, at least should be enough to stop Masvidal. Think it goes to a decision though.

I see another split decision. Masvidal is a very technical striker Thompson is more diverse but his low output costs him and it will cost him here imo

Not seeing why Thompson is so favored, he's passive for the most part and guys like Jorge are the antidote for guys like him who enjoy an outside-range karate style fight, he will force Wonderboy into a firefight against the cage or be in his face constantly like Matt Brown was. Yves Edwards in his prime for example was a guy semi-similar to Wonderboy and Jorge made him look bad.
