Being a fan of WMMA this is a great to read. I thought it would be awhile before this happened though the timing seems weird.
1. Why release Valerie?
2. Rumor is there is an upcoming fight between Eye and Ladd even though Eye is apparently on her last chance. Why wouldn't Eye sit out until the 125 division is created?
3. Dern has had trouble making 115. Does this mean you will move up to 125 now UFC will have this division?

You do realize that ONE shifted the branding for it's weight classes around right? Lee doesn't actually fight at atomweight. She fights at strawweight. ONE says she fights at atomweight because they are a shady company.

Jodie Esquibel is closer to an atomweight than strawweight (where she currently fights at). I don't think she would even attempt to go to flyweight.
I think DeAnna Bennett will audition. She has looked better at flyweight. Plus she auditioned for TUF 18 as a bantamweight.
I think it would be amazing if joanna jedrzejczyk was put in the house. Especially if she's still the current SW champ. She'd be the first fighter to go from coach to contestant. She'd have a huge target on her back.

Anyways Esquibel auditioned for TUF 23 and didn't get into the house. I doubt the UFC bring her back to the show to fight in weight class above.

The girls that are under UFC contract probably won't have to audition. Perhaps many of the top Invicta girls won't have to audition as well.
