I don't trust Aljo, he is mentally weak imo and isn't willing to dig deep to win. I haven't really gone deep into this match up but I suspect Aljo will skirt by on his athleticism. Wouldn't be shocked to see him break to a more relentless Tanquinho though.

I think there can be some nuance between toughness in two different sports. You can be the toughest hard-nose wrestler in college like for example Brock Lesnar was, but just ultimately can not take punishment, come through in the clutch or take adversity in an actual fight.

pure bjj, you gotta give the advantage to mendes. sterling should be able to mix things up and control the action in a fight though.
