What's the premise of this season? I haven't really read anything on this but Cummings and Gordon just fought recently for the UFC so kind of weird to see them on the roster

"“All of a sudden, he was shooting for a takedown, and I’m like, ‘Oh, you’re a wrestler now? Remember, I’m the black belt in jiu-jitsu. And you’re shooting on me now? This is a wrap." - Nate Diaz"

Aren't some of these guys still in the UFC, and coming off wins??

Yeah exactly why I asked the question above. Doesn't make sense but I guess they are trying to switch things up to bring more popularity to the show?

I kind of like what they did with that last season with all the title holders

I did too, but it seems like they could only do that with the lower weight classes. It's hard enough filling a LHW and HW season as it is, also that most promotions don't even have titles at those weight classes.

Some lightweights and some guys that have a hard time making WW,I think that will be a factor in this season.I don't usually watch the show,I usually watch after or check out all episodes when it's almost done (just the fights) kind of skip through all the BS,but I might watch this season it looks pretty solid.Junie Browning..really? Thats a turn off and clearly for ratings.

Not All star, but  more "UFC callbier" or at least belaltor/WSOF calliber. I think it will not be as nice as the last season but will probably looks like The Gastelum-Hall-Sammans-Andrew-barnatt-Cummings season. Thats a lot better then the one with McGregor as coach or the ATT vs Blackzillian
