Well looks like Cruz is in his head big time 

Will see. I don't think this is working the way people think it is. I don't believe firing up Cody is going to impact his game. He always fights on emotion. Does not mean Dom won't win, though I personally think Cody going to pull off the upset. I think regardless, these types of games are not going to negatively impact Cody come fight night. I think Cody fights better off emotion.

You may be right. But all of the greatest fighters that I have watched over the years have that eerie calm. It's creepy watching them in their approach before the fight. But I suppose there are always a few outliers who do fight better on emotion. It's just that any high stress dangerous situation seems to favor the calm participant. Usually.

Dominick is just the ******* best to watch in a lead up to a fight, How he systematically breaks everyone down before even getting in the octagon is just golden.

cruz 49-46

I'm just some nobody blah blah not worthy but that weigh in "scuffle" between Cruz / Cody was the f**king saddest thing I've ever seen .. I know I know easy 4 me to say, who am I but man, upon face off - Cruz hesitates slightly, begins toe hopping  Cody leans awkwardly to Dana and mumbles something ( instead of ramping up intimidation ) Dana ignores, they both get kind of awkward for a sec - Cruz already hopping on toes making semi awkward gestures  ( I know the stare down is cheap trashy way to sell fight ) but THEN Dana pure lunges and booty grinds Cody to "get him back"... but he wasn't even doing **** / being aggressive / intimidating, then in response Cruz does some ... I don't even know, some weird awkward "intimate' gesture - then gets lifted up like a Lil kid pawing away .. I know I know  it's cheap "scripted" etc but if your going to have 'scuffle' or mean- mug off at weigh in, to help boost some emotional investment ( for casuals ?) ( "ohhhh did you see that ??? They hate each other ! They shoved ! Blah blah blah"... guys , at least do it 50% effing right !!! Dana trying to make a scuffle the two guys not up for it ... I dunno just regret looking at that >_<


and what in the F___K! !! Is up with TJ's pot belly ???? "I AM A PROOOO ATHLETE SIR. (smirks self assuringly)" - Tj "pot belly game strong" Dillawhogivesacrap   ( despite rumors of Tj being unsafe training partner / beats on training partners not considering their welfare - I am huge fan of his for sticking his neck out for the union thing - but tj. ... If you didn't need to do cardio at ALL like you've said yourself ... you wouldn't look like you have a stomach cyst - reminds me of when a family member had one - unhealthy bloated looking stomach ..)

Dom will win 50-45

This is why picking MMA sucks. Garbrandt winning by early KO I could have seen. Garbrandt winning by five round decision after styling on Cruz like he was Anderson Silva or some ****? What??

Yeah, he is nowhere as bad as person that people make him out to be.

Well that was one hell of a fight.!

First off, I watched the first half of Dom's post fight scrum, he really does need to go back and watch the fight. He didn't lose this fight by inches, multiple times Cody could have finished it. The taunting was entertaining as F@%# but I was absolutely impressed and amazed by Cody's performance.

Not only was Cody calm and focused, but training camp def paid off. The way he moved in and out of range and made Dom look silly was beautiful. Landing some great shots and dropping Dom seemed effortless.

I will also mention that I thought Dom looked a little sloppy out there although he claims he was 100% and was "doing his thing".
going to rewatch a couple fights later today, see if Dom got rocked early or if he was sloppy from the start.

Dom was great post fight, but Cody wws unreal in fight. That was unreal what he was able to do to Dom. His boxing really came into play. On a side note, has anyone else seen the different scores from the judges. None of them had the same cards.

I had it 48-46 for Cody. I gave him a 10-8 in round four. And I gave Cruz rounds 2 & 5

Was a sick fight for sure. I knew cody had talent and thought he'd get the ko but never knew how slick his moments were. His timing was perfect. Dodging punches Anderson Silva style and being funny in the ring will definitely raise his stocks.

4 fights in 2016 3 first Rd finishes and that performance... fighter of the year no question
