I love and hate this fight, my two favorite lower weight guys. I'll watch but cry at the end.

Slightly favor Lineker right now.

If they're both the same size then why bother cutting weight?

Sorry John, Dodson is too fast. He'll find your chin in the 2nd or 3rd round and you'll fall.

We know Dodson has good cardio, but people often question Lineker's cardio due to his style and former weight issues.Mostly because Brian Stann often commentates Lineker's fights and ALWAYS talks about how he slows down and often gasses.Which is one of the reasons i don't like stann as a commentator,he often studies records and adds his opinion based on what he assumes instead of watching footage aka spewing ********.I have never seen Lineker gas in the UFC despite his torrid pace and crazy style.

How he looks over 5 rounds we haven't seen, but what we have seen in Lineker fights is him almost always,or every fight I can remember correctly, pushing the pace in the 3rd.So my guess is he'll be good over 5 rounds and especially without a hard cut (which I never saw effect his cardio at 125) but it's still a question yet to be answered.Another thing people forget is how rocked Lineker was against Jose Maria, but other than that has shown a great chin and could have been a perfect shot.

Should be interesting with Lineker's huge winging shot's and careless style vs Dodson's pinpoint straight punches and great fight IQ,not to mention huge power of his own.I have to study footage for this fight but I think it's pretty straight forward, can Lineker overwhelm Dodson or does he get caught being reckless.Of course not that simple but without getting technical it's kind of the fight to me.Greg Jackson and co. should have a good gameplan for this one,and could absolutely be a factor.I have no clue who wins this fight, one of the reasons I love it.After footage I might be more confident in one of them but for now I keep going back and forth.

Dodson going up in weight class is not so good decision. He's not a "big guy", he is short and guys like Lineker will be much stronger than him but hey lets give the Magician a chance :D
