I find that very highly unlikely. In order to fix a fight you'd usually pay the loser, in this day and age fixing a fight by paying both fighters is very unlikely because it's risky as **** to pay one and keep it on the downlow, let alone two.
Anyone who suggests Aldo will be willing to take any kind of money to lose to Conor needs to get his head checked. It's not like Aldo is a UFC yes-man (to say the least). I'm willing to put money on the fact that he ******* hates them and doesn't go into full "**** you" mode only because he likes the steady income, the multiple Brazil cards and how organized everything is.
I strongly believe that the only reason Aldo still fights for the UFC is because he's in a stage of his career where he wants to work as little as possible and maximize his profit within that. Moving to another promotion, though could turn out to be more profittable, brings changes he doesn't want (and I'm pretty sure that as of now, fighting as many of his fights in Brazil as possible is his top priority). He pulls out of non-Brazilian cards way easier than he does others and that's not because he's afraid of fighting anyone anywhere, it's because he likes not travelling too much for media and the fight. Show him a different promotion that can pay him what the UFC pays (or at least where he can makes as much money if you add the additional sponsors he can use outside the UFC) and does 2 cards a year in Brazil I think he leaves. It's not like if he does anyone will ever say he's not the best because he's not fighting the best or something.
