Machida vs. Romero

I think Romero is the perfect opponent for Machida to bounce back

Yea I agree, I think Machida going to pick him apart and then finish him.

I would normally give Machida a good chance of winning this fight but the speed of the turnaround after he got crushed by Rockhold seems like a very poor choice.

Romero is much more of an impetuous and tenacious fighter than Phil Davis or Dan Henderson, I feel like if we get a hesitant coasting Machida, Romero will eat him up. The super athletic, on point Machida that fought Weidman and Mousasi at MW should beat Romero though. Honestly, Machida came in looking soft, old and slow vs Rockhold and was SMASHED. He has went to war in his last 2 of 3 fights is 37years old and this is a quick turnaround.

I got Romero, but I won't be sad if I eat crow on this one. Both of these guys are why I have passion for the martial arts, combat and MMA. Romero is showing improvement though, he looked better than ever in his last 2 fights and those were his two toughest opponents. Machida showed a possible drastic decline vs Rockhold.

If Machida was super athletic versus Weimar than the latter is  a superhuman.

Machida only 6-7 in his last 13 fights after starting out 16-0 WOW

Well it looks like I was dead wrong about this one, though  still suspect/stand by my statement that we will see Romero drastically drop off or get popped once the new drug testing policy is in place.
