Not that he wasn't good for his time, not that he didn't accomplish a lot. But the fact is there were ZERO good HW's when he was dominating Pride. And this entire fandom talked about him like he was a god. It was laughable to even suggest he could lose. And this is what I'm referring too.
Can the old time Pride boys, finally, just come to this thread, lower their head, and admit that Fedor perhaps WASN'T that good??????
I mean jesus how much more ******* proof do you need?

Pride has the best HW division ever when Fedor was dominating though.. Hell, even his wins after Pride and stuff. He crushed Tim Sylvia like 6 months or some **** after Sylvia fought for a UFC title. The Fedor fandom is warranted, dawg.

Tim Sylvia is and always was garbage, same with Arlovski, same with Cro Cop, same with Big Nog.
THE FACT IS THEY LOOKED GOOD BECAUSE THEY WERE ALL FIGHTING EACH OTHER AND EVEN MORE GARBAGE PEOPLE!!!!!
They didn't all decline and lose their talent at the same time, they started getting their asses kicked when better fighters showed up, period.

god damn you people are stupid.
You could drop Brett Rogers right now into 2008 UFC and he would be the champ.
There HAD to be a champ, there HAD to be. And since there was no one good, it happened to go to Sylvia one time. The HW division for over 2 years was a trilogy between Sylvia and Arlovski.
I mean am I really this much smarter than the average person, this logic is infallible and undeniable.

I mean someone as awful as Gabriel Gonzaga probably would have looked like an unstoppable super nova if you put him in the division back then and his biggest threats were Sylvia, Arlovski and Heath Herring.

No, I'm pretty sure that all of those people are pushovers, Big Nog has been knocked out what like 20 times in a row? Mark Hunt is only NOW good, at one point he was like what 2-7 or some ****? Semmy Schilt is the definition of garbage, and did Cro Cop ever even win a fight in the UFC?

I don't think Fedor is overrated, but I do think he (along with basically every other fighter in that era) was pumped full of a concoction of steriods.

haha I wasn't say ur life wasn't great. Nor is it a self-help book. It's one of those books you just gotta read to understand it. It definitely does shine some sunny disposition on things you may have thought were previously a disadvantage.
