I stream all the UFC PPVs, so this doesn't have any effect on my viewing experience.

Wasnt last year one of their worst PPV years in a long time? This seems smart.... Guess they are really banking on Connor , Rousey and Punk

That's the way inflation goes. Costs for businesses always gets passed to the consumer. $59.99 is what some of their bigger shows already cost anyway so not a big deal. They got some good events lined up this year and their last PPV was their highest selling since Anderson vs Weidman 2. If all their champs stay healthy this year will crush last year easy possibly even beat 2013 even with the price increase.

I'm sure some of that is true, bigj, but I'm pretty sure a lot of it had to do with poor PPV buyrates. If 2014 surpassed 2013, I think they would have been less likely to raise the cost. They're kind of hedging their bets here because they do have some great cards lined up.
