1. Fujii - possibly the WMMA GOAT and most had her winning both her losses, hopefully VTJ will settle this placing
2. Aguilar - Hasnt lost in 3 years and technically beat Fujii
3. Esparza - Only losses are to Fujii and Aguilar, has a number of notable wins
4. Gadelha - Undefeated, dominated previously undefeated JEWELS champ Hamasaki
5. Kankaanpaa - Undefeated, wins over Daly, VV, and Benitez
6. Hamasaki - JEWELS champ before DEEP absorbed it, wins over Tsuji, JEWELS champ Ham, Inoue, Schuckman, and Fujino
7. Inoue - Only loss was to Hamasaki when she was 17. Wins over Chambers and Hyatt
8. Calderwood - Undefeated, with wins over Cummins and Ovchynnikova
9. VV - JWMMA legend, wins over Ishioka, Tsuji, and Nagano
10. Nagano - not going to lie, fan vote. Still has a good win over Haga,

Fuji nº1 of straightweight division?? She's 39 years old and she has got her last bout as MMA fighter. I don't think she is now the top1 of the division. Carla esparza, claudia gadhela or Herrig could defeat now.

I think Claudia Gadhela will be the number 1 of the division in the next year.

I agree w/ you @splash.  A few years ago, absolutely... but not anymore.  I still rank her in the top 5 outta respect though.

Yeah I guess I gotta remove Megu now :(
But people really think Herrig would beat Megu? She might be more overrated than I thought. Esparza I could see due to her wrestling and Gadelha looks to be a monster but not Herrig

Feel like people really need to update this ranking(and mine isn't totally up to date). Regardless of it not being the easiest environment for the fighters what has happened on TUF has really changed the face of the division. Plus Kowalkiewicz beating Inoue last month still seems not to be fully reflected in the rankings.

I know this is about SW rankings, but is there away to create a "Greatest Strawweight Fights" rankings?

Aguilar and Esparza are CURRENTLY above Gadelha by Tapology consensus ???? Gadelha would murder those peasants into oblivion in a 2vs1 fight both in feet or ground

WS division is turning into one of my favorites and most exciting divisions, there are several legit fighters and several prospects to keep things interesting for a while. I think the belt will keep changing hands more often than not.

I don't understand why Rose Namajunas is ranked so high. She's got wins in TUF 20 but when it counts she doesn't win.

TUF fights count to me especially when it was a world title tournament and I don't know how you can rank her below Jojo after she effortlessly subbed her and Jojo got decimated by Moroz. Penne's best win is someone Rose subbed in like a minute and while they both lost to Esparze Penne got outstruck by her which is worse.

I struggle to know where to put Rose to be fair. She is so talented and could breeze passed a lot of 115ers and did on TUF but the fact is she is 2-2 and Esparza put a beatdown on her.

The SW division is tough to rank because many have <10 fights, so was that win lucky or are they honestly that good?

But @GT_Edwards how to you have Waterson who has only beaten Angela Magana at 115 (big whoop) and Livia Renata Souza, with only 1 notable win; ranked so high? Markos, PVZ, Moroz, Letourneau, JAG should be ranked higher and that is just naming a few.

I just don't see Waterson losing to Markos, Van Zant, Namajunas, Herrig, or Letourneau. She looked really comfortable with the extra weight against Magana. Souza is a current champion so it makes sense to me that she is top 10. I like Calderwood but I have to admit she just doesn't have enough power.

I'm still just not sold with how Waterson will do at 115, I was a fan of her at 105 and commend her for going up a division to fight in the UFC, but in my eyes she still remains untested at 115 - even her pre-Invicta days at a 115, she was never really tested. This of course will all change at UFC 194, so we will have to wait and see.

Similar thing with Souza too, she is the Invicta champ at 115, AFTER the UFC cleaned house and took all of the top competition. She too remains untested for the Top 10, in my opinion... but at the end of the day that is why everyone is allowed to make their own rankings.
