Nick Diaz and many of his fans and friends from Stockton California as well as across the country will be in Las Vegas for this fight. GSP will be facing a very hostile crowd so i will tell him "Don't be scared homie". Diaz wins by third round TKO.

3rd round tko diaz. if you look on top i started the thread from the events forum. it brings up all the information on the event, your pick and the leader board. i like that. i will do that from now on when picking a big fight that has alot of fan interest.

I think GSP is going to treat his last fight the same as if it were a lose (not going to lie it was probly his worst fight to watch), which means he will come out very intense. Diaz has been good lately and is most definitely the best opponent for GSP. That all being said Diaz has never fought anyone near GSP's caliber, he has great heart but the talent, skill and work ethic does not match GSP and because of that "Rush" will win. My hope is that he can finish the damn fight this time because the shields fight was pathetic.

yeah, i dont think gsp vs diaz is as anticipated as the collision of fedor and hendo.

@kallous, I'm surprised their hasn't been much talk on it. It is only a month away. I wonder if Zuffa is going to do a UFC Prime Time type thing for that fight, I'd like to see one.

Diaz honestly stands NO chance of winning this fight.

I really hope this is an exciting fight, but I see GSP being just too strong for Diaz. He'll probably be able to stuff any submission attempts Nick throws his way.

i saw someone say that the henderson/fedor fight was the most anticipated fight coming up. i respectfully disagree. for one its not a title match and fedor has lost two in a row. both diaz and gsp have double digit win streaks going for them. most people in america have no idea who fedor is. the nick diaz /george st. pierre fight is the most anticipated fight coming up. this fight will be a chess fight whereas  the fedor/henderson fight will probably be a first round knockout.

I dont see GSP being aggressive enough to knock Diaz out he'll be to busy playing it safe as usual , so i hope Diaz can actually do something , I really dont think I can sit through another GSP decision again .

just like condit and leben, diaz will go for the finish. he will make gsp actually fight. i really hope gsp  tries to stall b/c he will get boo'd unmercilfully by the vegas crowd.
