I believe Grant can take this one if he keeps moving and does a better job than Bendo at grinding against the cage but seriously he can't just rely on that. I'm going with pettis by decision as I can't see him finishing Grant who is a tough MF.

My take is that this fight will not happen due to either pettis or grant getting injured.

This should be a great fight, I'm much more excited for this than Bendo/Grant.

Sounds like a great fight.  This will give Aldo time to heal.

seems like Aldo is really injured if they are moving so fast.
i mean, if there was a possibility Aldo could return early wouldn't you wait to try to make the fight happen?

This is a great time to be alive and a LW in the UFC.

In time, we will get to see the Top 6 LWs fight each other.  Pettis, Henderson, Melendez, Grant, Maynard, Thomson.  (And hopefully, in time, Aldo will join the festivities.)

Great time to be alive and see a sport blossom.

I take it Pettis' knee is fine then? I hadn't heard anything about the status of it since Pettis said it popped.

Great fight, but I have a hard time seeing my fellow Canadian oust Pettis. Pettis is better everywhere.

This will be a tough one for sure.  Both finished really tough guys in their last outing.  Gotta go with Pettis based on pure awesomeness and ninja ****!

I think Pettis wins a decision in a pretty damn good scrap. Only way I think Pettis would finish TJ is with a liver kick or something of the like.

Did we ever hear what the extent of Pettis' Knee pop was on Saturday night?

I don't know it depends on what he tore. if his meniscus is partially teared and he had it removed he'd be fine in 4 to six weeks, if the partially torn meniscus was repaired he'd be out for a couple months. I'm just praying it's only a partial tear of the meniscus and not a ACL, MCL, or PCL tear.

This fight is announced but without a date specifically because they're waiting to find out about Pettis. Pettis is sitting out indefinitely until clearance by a physician. Henderson's out 180 days or until an x-ray and MRI come back clear. Full medical suspensions here.

I'm glad to see T.J Grant doesn't get screwed again, and jumped over, again. I would've loved Aldo/Pettis which can still happen, but right now TJ Grant is a tough ass dude for anyone. Can't wait.

Thanks @Iamlegend. 2 months isn't that long. I'm relieved that Pettis will be defending his title before long. I would love to see him break the 3 defense curse.
