I don't know where they found that ref, but what a dumbass, if he declared it a flagrant foul, then Bowling should have won by DQ. He also almost jumped in early and stopped the fight way premature towards the end of the first round. Hope that's the last time we see that ref, I'll tell you one thing, you can definitely tell they are in Indiana, not one of the stronger athletic commissions lol.

Great fight, unfortunate ending. I look at knees to downed opponents the same way I look at low blows. Intended or not if you throw a knee to the body while a guy is down you know the risk you're taking, same with throwing inside leg kicks. Glancing blow, or full blow, knee, top of the leg, regardless. Leg strikes to the head of downed opponents are illegal, like it or not, which I personally don't. PRIDE RULES!

@cthulhu well said sir and, great job by the ref though he could have been just a little quicker and stopped the action before the punches but that knee looked like it done a whole bunch of damage. I want to see part2!! The fight was great though.

is clear. trujillo is overrated. He has a good boxing wit powerfull shoots, but his ground game is very soft.

both knees looked to the chest to me maybe his thigh barely grazed him on the second one, the punch after the two knees KO'd Bowling.

The grazing knee of to the side of bowlings face was not what knocked him out or did damage, it was the first knee and the punch short after.
