I think that Moraga and Dodson are the only ones in the weight class that have a chance at beating Might Mouse.
I for one think that with all these FS1 events, 2013 will have better free cards than the PPVs.
What does everyone think of this care since it's final and less than 10 days away? Let's get some talk going since I think I am the only one on Tapology right now....lmao!

Even if Ellenberger had tried more takedowns he would have still lost. Rory nearly sweeped him instantly, instead he reversed the position and actually took Ellenberger's back at the end of the round. Rory is better everywhere. That's it.

But then I considered that Ellenberger knew there was no time left and just tried to go for broke in the past few seconds and maybe it doesn't tell us much after all.

All we saw from Rory was the jab because that's all it took. Ala GSP, he's aware of how to win, and if the opponent changes his approach he changes his reaction appropriately.

If the fight was boring it was because of Jake's lack of aggressiveness; Rory was being effective with the jab and was not going to to get reckless and risk getting one-punched-KTFO by Jake only to make the fight exciting. it was Jake who never turned it on.
That being said, I do agree this was not the best Rory we've seen.

@blitzkrieg You're 100% right. Jake Ellenberger fought like he was Sapp-scared. I don't even know why he didn't shoot for more takedowns, not only was he was better wrestler, not only is he more explosive but he had success when he shot the first time and it allowed him to close the distance.
When he shot on Rory, Rory defended it but Jake landed a left hook and two uppercuts right away and Rory just ate it. If Jake wrestled him more, we could've seen something different. Shame on Jake Ellenberger.
