I've found that if I read everything that bill says and apply a thick, sarcastic tone, it makes a lot more sense.

@skelliher was talking about the countdown video, not a post in this thread. Anyone who really knows who Danaher is would know he isn't wasting his time on Tapology.....

That said, i'm taking Anderson in this fight only because he will screw off "slightly" less than before and wants to retire the champion. Weidman will fight Vitor for the next MW King in 2014 after Silva calls it quits.

"You think this card is WEAK?????"

Take the Silva vs. Weidman fight out and the card is actually weak.

It's an average card at worst without the main event. Rousey vs. Tate II is a PPV main event caliber fight. Barnett vs. Browne would be a good co-main event.

I don't think it's the most stacked main card from top to bottom but I think it's the biggest main and co-main event combination since UFC 100.

@Bill - i'm not sure how you think this card is weak?

Two title fight rematches....

Browne vs Barnett is going to be a helluva fight

not sure what to think of Miller/Camoes yet.....

Poirier & Brandao are both known to put on highly exciting fights

Eeryone wants to see Uriah Hall actually fight

Tibau could be boring...

Siver is always fun to watch

Howard/Bahadurzada has the potential for a slugfest!

I can't even watch these lives and i'm shaking just thinking about it..... i'll be up all night once i get home to watch all these fights..... how can you not be stoke for this BILL!

@bk  Well, I am excited for this event.  My main point was that Dana White called it the biggest event in UFC history.  They went so far as to charge extra for it.

My simple point was that without the Silva vs. Weidman fight, it didn't come anywhere near being the biggest event in UFC history.

I'm excited for the main event and the women's fight.  Outside of that, I like the Barnett vs. Browne fight, and am always interested in seeing Uriah Hall and Siyar Bahadurzada fight.  More for their potential than anything they've actually done so far.

Remove the main event and this is a slightly above average event.  I shouldn't have called it weak, but I was trying to dramatize how over-the-top White was being.  And in doing so, I suppose I went under-the-bottom.

If Lesnar vs Mir wasn't on the UFC 100 card, it wouldn't have been the biggest card ever.

@hiblet  While that true, even with Silva vs. Weidman, this doesn't have a remote chance of being the biggest event ever.

Having Brock Lesnar foam at the mouth and put down Budweiser went a long way to make him a powerful drawing card and explode his street credibility.  I don't see anything like that happening here.

Agreed Bill - i don't feel like this should be "the biggest event in UFC history". They need to quite using that slogon, it's getting old. I am excited for the fights and i like a guy who can admit a point i was trying to prove. Weak no, Good yes! Best ever, not even close.....

Its not the biggest event in history, but the main event is certainly one of the biggest fights in history

what time is that weigh in at?

Pumped for this man. I really want Andy to win but at least Chris is cool. So hard to pick this, if Chris won a 5 wound decision I would pick him now but he knocked Anderson out. I know that sounds stupid but Anderson is that good of a striker I cant help but believe he'll win more of the stand up exchanges this time, although I could be wrong and maybe Chris' striking is just that good and maybe he'll knock out Andy again.

Talk about a highly anticipated re-match! I seriously wish I didn't get stuck working and having to miss this fight. Silva's still the favorite by the odds, the pundits and fighters seems split on the two, but I have Weidman again. He's just got the perfect style to combat Silva with, and he's got power too! It's funny that everyone sees him far better on the ground (which is still true) yet he has more knockouts than submissions, so he's definitely no slouch in the striking department. Whether Silva showboats or not (I think he will a little) I just see Weidman beating him again. Sadly, for one of, if not THE, greatest fighters ever, this will probably be it for him. I think Anderson will retire after this fight. One of the all time greats, he'll be missed!

I had Chris picked up till Yesterday.... After reviewing tapes of the audio of the corners ...back t back to Silva. I I think Chris is a great fighter..... But he tired in that first fight bad i noticed....i didnt realize how bad untill i heard audio of Weidmans corner. I cant find anything negative about Chris as a person....he won me over. If he wins again....fine with me....bring on Belfort. But I think Silva takes him deep this time and sinks him late.
