it never ceases to amaze me that most of this thread has hendo knocking out fedor but 62% of Tapologists think fedor will win. we are the vocal minority.

I don't think Fedor is past his prime yet but people in this thread definitely don't agree with the odds. C'mon he got caught vs Werdum, Do you really think Werdum would beat him if they fought again? And Bigfoot just outsized him by too much. Hendo does not have that elite BJJ or the huge size difference. Fedor is faster, has better submissions, and they both have iron chins.

Not taking away from Hendo, his KO of Bisping is my favorite KO of all time, but his only chance in this fight is landing a perfect punch that NOBODY has been able to land on Fedor, or somehow laying on him for 3 rounds. People seem to think Hendo is on some resurgence, I don't see it. He beat Babalu and Feijao, hardly elite competition.

On the same note... when was Fedor's last big win? This fight will convice (hopefully) Fedor to make a move to 205... a weight he could easily make.

Fedor hasn't had any huge wins lately, though did smash through Sylvia in 36 seconds not too long ago. I don't think Sylvia was ever finished that fast in the UFC. I blame his inactivity on his management though, they always hold things up.

I wish he would go to 205 as well, I think he'd tear up a lot of fighters there. I quote Rampage back in Pride, "I'm glad I ain't a heavyweight"

Mike Moore went through him quicker than that I think! Yeah... Fedor wouldn't even have to work too hard to make 205 & wouldn't be the biggest LHW either. It really could rejuvinate his career darn it.
