I don't think it'd be fireworks but still a good fight.

I would definitely be interested in this fight if it happened.

It would be awesome if they made this fight for a main event in Brazil or Japan, but I would prefer it happened in Brazil just to see the type of reaction Chael gets during his entrance.

A grudge match between Wanderlei Silva and Chael Sonnen is slated for later in the year, but it appears that Chael Sonnen has no interest in that fight.

I think the only fights Chael would be interested in are the one's that would help him climb back up the ladder of a weight class. A Wand/Chael fight would be awesome but I can understand if Chael was not interested in that.

Chael would grind it out on the ground! Decision!!!

Wanderlei wouldn't be able to stop the takedowns of Chael and would more than likely lose a lopsided decision. I love Wanderlei but it would be a tough fight to watch

When's Wanderlei shown good takedown defense lately? It also isn't easy to finish Sonnen, Anderson and Jones both had to hit him a bunch of times to TKO him.

i want to see Chale fight both Wanderlei and Belfort, maybe if Belfort loses in 2 weeks that fight would interest him more

Chael's one of the best wrestlers in MMA and Wanderlei hasn't fought anyone recently with the wrestling skills of Chael and who's going to imply a wrestling based grappling offense like Chael instead of standing and trading strikes with him and Wanderlei hasn't submitted, been close to submitting or even tried submitting anyone in years.

Chael has a good chance to beat Wanderlei by decision if they fight as I don't think he has the power to ground & pound Wandelrei and stop him by TKO or KO.

A fight with Vitor would be much tougher for Chael as Vitor has the faster and more accurate hands and could catch Chael coming in to close the distance unless Chael shot for a takedown from far away, but that's not Chael's style of shooting for takedowns so there's slim to no chance that Chael shoots from faraway.

Either way, I could see Chael beating either guy, but both fights would be good for Chael and he could make some money with both of them specially if either fight took place in Brazil.

I would personally do Chael vs. Wanderlei in Japan and Chael vs. Vitor in Brazil. I think that would be a good way for Chael to retire although I think he would like to retire in the US so he would probably ask for another fight in Vegas possibly as a co-main event against someone who he has a chance to beat like Forrest or Rich. I think that would work out fine for Chael.

I wouldnt mind seeing sonnen fight all the Brazilian LHWs when the division is clogged up and they dont have good opponents available.

The Pre fight lol's will be epic even though Sonnen would lose to half the guys on that list.

Everyone wins , Sonnen makes more money , those guys make more money , UFC makes more money and it would be hilarious.

You aren't crazy. Wand CAN knock out anyone alive, IF the fight goes his way. A wand fight is the hardest thing to predict.

I'd rather see Griffin - Wand and Sonnen-Hendo if they were willing to fight each other.

 

Sonnen v Hendo would be pretty damn fun. Wand v Griffin not so much cuz Griffin gets tagged one good time he's like the drunk guy at the party trying to dance

Sonnen vs Franklin. Five round fight would be interesting. Think Franklin would finish him to be honest.
