He became my favorite when he once thundered to a guy at the beginning of a fight, "Hey! Get your ass behind that line!" He has a sense of authority and command like no other. He and Herb never fail to 'lunge' in to save someone, throwing their own body into harm's way.

But on MMA discussion boards, the worst seems to be Cecil Peoples, who is also a judge, and he gets his buttocks roasted over an open fire for both, for some reason.

I'm thinking: "Why can't he kick the head, call open guard already."

Marcos Rosales is the worst ref in the history of the sport, he is going to get someone killed. He should have lost his licence for his work at Tachi PF 14.

Shimada (though like someone said earlier, he has been iffy lately but I think it had more to do with One FC's bizarre rules)

Mario Yamasaki (how people think he is one of the best is beyond me, he is constantly indecisive and looks timid with the larger fighters)

Marcos Rosales is on another level of horrendous officiating, multiple fighters nearly died at that Tachi show he did. ******* disgusting.
I don't remember Mike Beltran being horrible, but this is an opportunity to post a picture of his hilarious facial hair
