It hard to see Okami Wining this fight. Silva should go out there and beat his in a highlight real fashion

Anderson is the best and nobody will ever beat him. Especially not Okami. Go Anderson!!!! You're my hero!!!!

Silva trounces anyone not named Jon Jones or GSP.

Anderson should win this fight fairly easily. I just don't see any way that Okami could beat Silva.

1. Mental Edge/Confidence/Gameplan - Anderson is the UFC MW Champion for a reason. I've never seen him mentally break in any fight. We know what each fighter's respective gameplan is. The area with the biggest gap in this category though is confidence. Anderson Silva is the UFC MW Champion and the #1 p4p king for a reason. The man is 100% confident that no matter what happens in a fight, he is going to win. I give Anderson a good advantage in this area. Silva 10/10, Okami 8/10

2. Experience/Level of Opposition - Anderson Silva has fought one more fight that Okami, so I think it's pretty safe to say that both fighters are pretty close in this department. Level of opposition is pretty close as well. Both fighters have faced the very best fighters in the MW division around the world. I give Silva a slight advantage because he has faced fighters at 205. Silva 9/10, Okami 8/10

3. Stamina/Cardio - There is no doubt that either fighter will have a problem going a 5 round distance here. Silva 10/10, Okami 10/10

4. Endurance/Toughness - Both fighters can take a ton of punishment. We've seen this in many of each fighter's respective fights. I've seen both fighters rocked, but they can both recover quickly. I give Anderson Silva a slight advantage here though because Silva has stood toe-to-toe with Dan Henderson, Rich Franklin, and Chris Leben. Okami did get rocked in the early going of his fight with Mike Swick. Swick now fights at 170. Silva 10/10, Okami 9/10

5. Heart/Determination to win - After his fight with Chael Sonnen, there is no question about Anderson Silva's heart and determination to win. Probably the great come from behind win in the history of MMA. I know I was sh*tting my pants on that fight for 4.5 rounds. Okami has a ton of heart, and he's always in the fight from beginning to end, but I think that Anderson gets the nod in this department. Silva 10/10, Okami 9/10

6. Overall Striking - Do I even need to say? Though Okami has worked a lot on his stand-up, compared to Anderson Silva's stand-up it's atrocious at best. Silva has the most accurate striking stats in all of MMA. You factor in accuracy with technique, and then you add power, and you have Anderson Silva. IMO, the greatest striker in all of MMA. Silva 10/10, Okami 6/10

7. Wrestling/Overall Grappling - Remember what I said about Okami's striking? Well, though Anderson's takedown defense and overall grappling has improved since his time in PRIDE and Cage Rage, it is still atrocious at best. Round 1 against Travis Lutter, round 1 against Dan Henderson, and 4.5 rounds with Chael Sonnen has proven this. This is Okami's big strength here. He's got very good Judo, wrestling, and usually can maintain top control. If there is anywhere that Okami can win or control the fight, it is in this category right here. Silva 6/10, Okami 9/10

8. BJJ/Submissions - Both fighters have a very good submission game, have worked on their submission defense, are constantly working on making this area of their fight game better and better over the years, and have finished fighters in the past by submission. It's really hard to pick who really has the advantage here. For now, I'll call it even. Silva 9/10, Okami 9/10

9. Strength - I think that Okami does have the advantage here, but Anderson Silva's strength is often times very underestimated. In the clinch, is where Silva's strength really comes to life. This was shown against Rich Franklin twice. While for Okami, it's a combination of size and usable strength. Silva 8/10, Okami 9/10

10. Speed/Athleticisim - Neither fighter is really quick or massively athletic. Okami likes to wear his opponents down, and slow the pace of a fight to his pace, which is usually pretty slow. Anderson Silva I think has a pretty good advantage here. Silva 8/10, Okami 7/10

Overall Score = Anderson Silva 90/100, Yushin Okami 84/100

I agree Jaykool. I can only see Okami winning this fight by 5 rounds of top control, but his TD's aren't as good as Chael's so I don't see it happening.

*** is with all the Okami by submission picks?! You really think Okami is going to submit Silva? Lol what is he gonna bust out a flying scissor heel hook?
