This would be an epic Brazil card , wonder if they are doing this on purpose to get them all healed at the same time for the next UFC Brazil

The whole card is awesome, but to me, Fitch-Maia is the most intriguing match of them all.

My flight leaves on thursday. Can't wait.

Stacked card. Every fighter on the main card has headlined an event at least once before! Looking forward to Saturday

Bjorn Rebney thinks UFC 156 is going to tank (under 200K PPVs).

Predictions: 2 of 11 Winners, 2 Perfect, 175 Points   |   Tied for 1245th

It's a stacked card WITH a superfight ... which makes what Bjorn Rebney said even dumber.

I don't know how much of a source Bleacher Report is, but that's what I have for now (was tweeted by MMA Junkie's Steve Morrocco, so I guess it's legit)

So we get Aldo vs Edgar, basically a fight the fans have been calling for years. Ubereem vs Bigfoot, a fight that was supposed to go down in SF, and Evans vs Lil Nog, pretty exciting match up, style wise. Thats just 3 fights on the whole card that ****s on ever fight on Bellator 87. Rebney must be puttin something in his blunts to ever say something like this. UFC gives us the best card of 2013 on a SuperBowl weekend, and Bellator gives us a **** card on a thursday that is headlined by Will Brooks? lol thats cute

@Bill Burgess, I'm pretty sure the guy's not a moron ... he's just let himself go a bit with this whole UFC/Bellator rivalry.

Once he remembers what's so special about Bellator, which is their place as "the little promotion that could" and not try and be create any sort of rivalry with the UFC he'll go back to using his very sharp brain.

@JudoRandori, he's basing his "prediction" solely on his estimation of Frankie Edgar as a PPV draw (and even that, only based on what they sold @ UFC 150 which wasn't the most star-studded card after the main and co-main events - Max Holloway on the main card, as much as I like him kinda tells the story). Not saying I agree with him or anything, just stating where he's coming from to help you fathom :) ... he's just forgetting a few more "little" pieces of that card and the fact that even if Edgar isn't the biggest draw on his own right he's fighting an opponent who is, in a highly anticipated matchup. That's before you even start talking about Suga and Übereem's PPV "draw-power".

I see no way this card sells less that 400K PPVs (and I'm being very conservative here).

Bjorn Rebney said it would do under 200k? ****, if Bjorn said it'd go over 200k I'd put my money on the card flopping. No matter what Bjorn says, he is wrong because he is scum.

I wonder what kind of numbers Bjorn Rebney thinks a Bellator PPV would do? 10k? Cause he says they're planing one.

A Bellator PPV sounds like a bad idea. Whenever you have a free product then make people pay for it, it doesn't seem to work. WEC and Invicta both did it and both returned to the free format (at least Invicta is planning to)

Depends on who is on the card, but I think they have a little too much confidence in their fan base. The die hards will buy it, but I assume most Bellator viewers only watch it because it is free.

They would have to have their best card ever to hope for 200k buys they just dont have the talent or the promotion machine to stack up to UFC on PPV's

King Mo vs Rampage
Alvarez vs Chandler
Askren vs Koreshkov

those are the only 3 fights that i think would market well and they would have to have at least two of them on a card before I would think of buying it.

And since Rampage isnt in Bellator yet and Alvarez is trying and will probably get into the UFC. I think Bellator is a couple years from going PPV

Even if you had those fights, I still wouldn't pay $55 for it. Maybe $10. Also I'm wary about giving money to them after the Tyson Nam and Eddie Alvarez debacles.

On a slightly different note, I read on ESPN that the decision to screw Alvarez was Viacom's (Bellator's owner), not Bjorn Rebney's. Or at least that seems what they were trying to convey.

Yea, but they would have to get a better headline then King Mo vs Rampage. Mo would just grapple**** him. Chandler would choke out Alverez again, this time only quicker, and Askren would probably win a boring decision.
