Thank you for the memories, Mark Hominick!

I really hope it will turn out to be only temporary and he returns, maybe in a year, maybe 2, maybe 3, stronger, healthier, tougher, smarter, with more determination and all the bad things put behind him and his love for fighting reignited anew. I really hope.

But if not, the more power to him and I wish him all the happiness outside of the fighting world. The path is his for the choosing and he is one of the rare few that can and deserve to make that choice freely and without regret.

And whatever happens, all my best wishes go with Mark "The Machine" Hominick!

"If the enemy rejects the ground, I would take him down by tackle. Why didn’t he [Royler] do so? May I introduce him to a good coach? His tackle was... like a girl’s one... Mr. Royler, how are you feeling?" - Kazushi Sakuraba

“Over the last 11 years, I’ve followed my passion in the UFC. Now, I’ll say UFC 154 was my last fight in the Octagon as I’m retiring and moving on to next phase of my career. I have a young daughter at home and another on the way. I’ll always be involved in the sport. But I know the commitment I have to make. I have to make a commitment to this as I have to fighting in the past.”

"“All of a sudden, he was shooting for a takedown, and I’m like, ‘Oh, you’re a wrestler now? Remember, I’m the black belt in jiu-jitsu. And you’re shooting on me now? This is a wrap." - Nate Diaz"

oh i see.
well he already had the big payday in a title shot.
if his mind is not into it retiring is a good thing.
maybe he comes back in a year or two.
