Two or three years ago.. I would have said Randy, but his mind/heart just wasn't into it for a while now.  Always talking about retiring and doing movies and living life gives you different priorities in life.  He went out on his own terms, so I'm proud of him.

Back to the point, I think Fedor would have taken him if they fought in the present.

The time for it was years ago...Though you could say that it was before Fedor lost. Once that happened the luster of seeing the match vanished. We would have seen Fedor vs Couture if not for M-1 Global being so stubborn. Part of me feels they wished they did sign a deal as UFC would have done a awesome job of promoting Fedor to be this unstoppable fighter.

I would have picked Fedor to win by split descsion. Unless Fedor suddenly did the crane kick out of nowhere.

Ah well, I can just play World of Mixed Martial Arts 3 and set up a fight between them :D

As much as I like Fedor a little more than Randy. I'd say Randy would take it in the past.

40 year old Randy vs 30 year old Fedor would have been a sight to see.  Oh well, you can't get em all...

Randy in the past, Fedor currently.

It is a tragedy that we will never see it.

But i would pick Fedor by decision at any point in there careers.

Is that a consolation?  Just kidding.  I have only seen Ryan fight once.  I don't see him being anywhere near as good as his father, but he as some good grappling.

What if Fedor came to the UFC and just got destroyed by everyone like Wand and the Nogerias

If Fedor comes to the UFC, he has got to drop to LHW and get rid of his world famous muffin tops man.  I think he would be a big LHW and I do really think he would make a good run.  Think of the match ups.. Fedor/Rampage, Fedor/Machida, Fedor/Griffen, Fedor/Shogun.  Some awesome potential match ups!

Even if Couture was still fighting i would not want to see the fight because both fighters are well out of their prime. it would have been an awesome 5 or 6 years ago

Fedor isn't that old really, there's no reason he shouldn't still be in his prime.

Terrible - YES, but i won't live my life on What If's and whether or not the fight happened. Fedor definately has the ability to regain some of his mystique if he trains with other high quality fighters and continues to do that. But i don't see it happening. I'm hoping Hendo puts him into retirement

It's always so damn difficult to figure out where Fedor is at.  He never seems motivated.  He never seems fired-up and yet he always won...until Werdum and Silva.
@bklettke: You're right.  If he got with some good camps and worked on his game, he could definitely get back to the top of the food chain.
Henderson would definitely tell us where Fedor is at.  Two years ago, I would have predicted Fedor to beat Hendo hands-down.  Now...
