UFC in RIO is really shaping up guys... Barboza will be fighting Pearson.  Thoughts on this?  I think its a bad match up for Ross.

i dont think pearson stands a chance.............then again i dont think many lw's will be able to handle barboza when it comes to striking.....

he's a purple belt, so take that for what its worth.  I'm sure he'll be matched up with a wrestler soon so hopefully we can see his ground game

It kinda sux the fight isn't until August too.. it will be tough to project a next opponent for him IF he does win.  These Also/Silva/Barboza/Pitbull Striking/BJJ guys are really starting the next paradigm of MMA aren't they?

I love the BJJ/MT mix. Makes for very exciting fight. I have Barboza on this one, but Ross is a good test for him.

This is going to be a great fight. I like both guys. This is at the very least a Spike TV fight. But I have a question: Since this UFC is in Brazil will it start like early in the day? I know UFC 112 was at 1 PM.

Cole Miller, who is a BJJ fighter, did better on the feet against Ross Pearson, which should say something... Hopefully, Edson Barboza goes for the kill rather than counter... Barboza by spinning back kick to the face...

Barboza with an easy tko win here. I was looking forward to the Gomi fight, but this will be good. Tough mach up for Ross here. Barboza has too much for him.
