Yep, Shogun obviously shouldn't be above Jones.  We built the rankings system to take every user's individual personal rankings into account, and average them all together. 

Now several months later we're seeing how the system needs to be tweaked. There are a lot of old rankings that users have made and haven't updated.  As soon as we can, we're going to update it so that old, stale rankings don't get counted anymore.

In the meantime, update your rankings, everybody!! :)

Cool Man there should be a way that you have to update your rankings after every major event.

@Gregory.. so you're going to have a system that edits out inactive or non-updated rankings?  What would be the cut off so we all know how often to keep updated?  Thanks for all the work you put into this!

We haven't figured out any of the details yet, Kalibo.  Just to clarify - your rankings won't be touched... it's not like we will delete them or anything.

But for purposes of the consensus rankings, we'll be figuring out a way to not include old ones that haven't been touched in a long time.

Yep.. I understand.  I guess when the details are worked out, you'll let us know what the cut off is so we all know (at the minimum) how often we need to update our rankings.  Thanks :)

If a ranking hasnt been updated after a champ has lost then it should be taken out of the consensus.  
Im currently pretty happy with the ranking system besides that minor part of it.
