I am surprised that no one has started this thread yet.

I know this is an MMA website but I bet that there are some Boxing Fans out there.

I just love the sport of fighting in general and I have been raised by boxing.

So in this Thread we can discuss the "Sweet Science"

such as
Past Fights
Upcoming Events
Favorite Fighters
and Historical Figures in the Sport


Because like MMA in the US, Boxing started out illegal. But where it took MMA less than 25 years to gain the General populations approval, It took boxing over 100 years.

Anyone else think that the Mayweather vs Maidana undercard is stacked as hell?

I am excited for that, as well as the main event.

 

Personally I think that Khan vs Collazo will steal the show for us action wise.

Broner vs Molina will be interesting because this will be Broner's first attempt at the Light Welterweight division cause he skipped from Lightweight directly to Welterweight.

What do yall think?

If you're so inclined to watch the Denzel movie about his life. Don't. That movie does not do the man justice. Pretty much a political movie about the US justice system. Not much about the man as a boxer.
