I know this is an MMA website but I bet that there are some Boxing Fans out there.
I just love the sport of fighting in general and I have been raised by boxing.
So in this Thread we can discuss the "Sweet Science"
such as
Past Fights
Upcoming Events
Favorite Fighters
and Historical Figures in the Sport
Because like MMA in the US, Boxing started out illegal. But where it took MMA less than 25 years to gain the General populations approval, It took boxing over 100 years.
Discuss and have fun.

WBC Heavyweight Champion Vitali Klitschko (42) vacates his title in order to focus on his political career. After winning the title in 2008 after a brief hiatus in the sport, he had defended the belt for a total of 9 times. And after 15 months of inactivity he vacates the title so he can focus on running for presidency of the Ukraine. And if he does decide to comeback and box again the WBC gave Vitali the opportunity for an automatic title shot in what the WBC calls him as "Champion Emeritus".

Thanks Bro...
Wladimir Klitschko now vows to become the first Undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the World since Lennox Lewis back in 2003. Do to the recent event of his brother Vitali Klitschko vacating his WBC title in route of the Ukrainian Presidency, Wladimir "aims to bring the WBC title back into the Klitschko family," Klitscko said.
Will Dr. Steelhammer succeed?
Probably.

How ever not being finalized yet but The Puerto Rican Star would like to face RING Magazine/ WBC Middleweight Champion Sergio Martinez (51-2-2, 28 KOs) on June 7th at the famed Madison Square Garden in New York.
Cotto added, "If you look at the physicality of Martinez, he has never been a full 160-pounder. He's always weighed in at 157 and 158 pounds. Rarely does he ever come in at 160 so he's not a real middleweight."
I personally like this fight and can't wait to see what happens.
Your opinions?
