Danzig has gotten too many chances. I wanna see Gomi knock his block off and send him packing for good, which he will. Gomi's wrestling will nullify Danzig's and force him into a striking match which he DOES NOT want. Gomi by KOTN

Gomi skills seems to be going down hill fast along with the other pride greats like kid yamamoto, sakurai and sakuraba. But even with his decline, hes still got that 1 punch KO power that if it lands will knock anybody on thier ass

I don't think he's gone down hill, he's just been surpassed like all the older greats.

I agree @Yaspaa.  You just can't get by anymore being great at one thing and mediocre at everything else. The newer MMA fighters train in all aspects and have surpassed the older greats.

I would like to see the Danzig of old. Last couple fights were lackluster.

Gomi has looked pretty bad in last several fights.  Danzig has looked expectable... should be a good fight

So glad Gomi decided to actually box and use his wrestling again!

As a fan of his it's been frustrating to see him just duck, wing haymakers, shake out arms/look frustrated, repeat for his last few fights.

Gomi looked great here. He really upped his game in this one. Hope they give him someone like Jim Miller next (not saying that'd be a good fight for him), just someone with a decent name. See where Gomi truly stands in the division. I think he can stand with just about anyone in the division as long as he fights like he did in this one. Hope he gets someone with decent name value next. I kind of wanted to see him fight Varner.

People make Gomi sound like a 39-40 year old man, he is 34 and could still easily continue fighting with the best of them. He just needs to get back to form, and if this fight was a solid start.

I really don't see how Gomi could be fighting with the best of them. He barley beat Mac Danzig, got worked by Nate Diaz, Guida, Florian. He is 34, and has been fighting for 15 years. I'm just being honest when I say his best days are over, and he won't be fighting much longer.
