Is anyone else scared for Vitor's well being? Bones is going to try to one up Anderson by slaughtering Vitor in a more spectacular fashion than the spider did. The more I think about this, the more my brain hurts. Is there any news on what this does to Alan Belcher? He's still scheduled to fight Vitor at UFC 153, but that's obviously not happening now.

I hope belforts bulked up a bit. It was said at his fight with rumble he's around 206 on fight night.
For vitor he's just stepped up to fighting someone 4 inches taller, 10 inches longer (gigity) and what 15lbs heavier?
where as jones has been preparing for an undersized lhw with ko power...

I dont see it happening but id ******* love vitor to do it.

If jones wins he needs to fight forrest next- as he'll be the only former champ since the division was created that isnt either retired or jones has already beaten

He needs to fight Forrest next? No way. Forrest will no way even be comsidered as a top contender. His last fight against Tito was competitive and terrible both at once. Forrest would get destroyed in the first round

oh i dont think forrest either deserves it or stands a chance.
He's just the only former champion left after jones has taken shogun, rampage, machida, rashad, and belfort thats 5 of the 10 former lhw/old middleweight champs, 4 are already retired. forrest is loose end legacy wise.
it'd be a nice thing to be able to claim- having beaten all 6 still active former champions?

Well I really like Vitor but when was the last time he fought at 205? 2006? I don't really understand the UFC's decision making lately. I would have rather seen the Belcher/Belfort fight and see Jones sit on the sidelines for a longer period than doing this.

I like this fight better then Jones/Machida. I think Vitor gives Jones a different look and a better one at that. Jones already disposed of Machida rather easily why not give Vitor this chance.
