Hey guys, I'm working on an article about ex-training partners who've had to fight each other. I'm having trouble coming up with a lot of instances; so far only a couple come to mind like Jones/Evans and Cerrone/Guillard.
Any other ones you guys can remember? Any help is appreciated.

alistair overeem and gokhan saki fought each other in k-1 while they trained together... idk if k-1 fights help you at all or not

I think Evans and Jones was blown way out of proportion for their fight, they trained together yes. But they made it sound like they were best friends when they weren't. But much respect to Cerrone/Guillard not only ex training partners but really good friends.

I know Matt Hughes and Joe Riggs have trained together at Jeremy Horns Elite Performance Gym, I don't know if it was before or after their fight.

After Hamill got off TUF he went over to Team Punishment and trained with Tito for a bit and they wound up fighting in the future.

Takanori Gomi and Hayato Sakurai trained at the same dojo when they fought in the Pride 2005 LW GP finals. It was a huge deal at the time.
Also Anderson never trained with Thales Leites. Leites was from Nova Unaio.

Condit and GSP will be fighting soon but GSP doesn't really train all that much at New Mexico so I don't think that counts.
Chael Sonnen and Anderson Silva used to train together.

I realize you aren't referring to this, but the young guys in the TUF TV shows constantly train together and then have to fight each other towards the end of the show.
But they aren't official UFC fighters at that stage, only UFC hopefuls. A few made it to the UFC, but the vast majority didn't.
