Now that you mention it....

I wanna see Cerrone vs Pettis so badly
I wanna see Diaz vs Bendo so badly
I wanna see Edgar vs Maynard so badly
I wanna see Edgar vs Aldo so badly

And now 3 of these are quite likely.

@Swick Dude, I hate to bring the stats into this but he scored like 20 more significant strikes.  I don't see how Edgar was in any way 'lighting him up.'  Henderson tagged him several times and other than the right hand that dropped him, there were really no other big shots landed by Edgar.

Seriously disgusted.  I don't even want to see Frankie at Featherweight, and I don't know why everyone else wants to.  Just so he can contend with Aldo? I had Frankie winning both of his last fights.  He's quick at 155, and he has enough power to pick up Henderson and get him to the ground and even drop him.  If for nothing other than giving Aldo a worthy contender, why would he go to Featherweight?

I don't think either fighter deserved to win this fight, but it is what it is.

I'm not a fan of the phrase "Never leave it in the hands of the judges.", but I'm starting to think truer words have never been spoken in MMA.  Neither fighter looked like they were gunning for a finish.  Both of them looked like they were fighting to impress a few old farts sitting cageside.

Here's hoping Nate Diaz wants it bad enough to give us a real fight.

Benson beat Frankie in the stand up. No questions asked. Frankie got a couple TD's but other than that it was Benson.

The best of the night is we finally got to see the real jake shields.  Lol.  No in all honesty that guy can shut almost anyone except gsp down with that grappeling.  But man his striking stance is super awkward.

This silver lining in this fiasco is the very real possibility of Frankie being one of only three men to become champion in two weight divisions.

@fresno i wouldn't ethier but i do think benson took 3 out of 5, it was a close fight but not that close that you couldn't see a clear winner

@Fresno I would've liked to see Bendo do what he's doing in your avatar to Edgar and see who comes out on top. I have trouble thinking he would win; I don't see Bendo's chin as solid.

As much as I like Frankie Edgar for the huge amount of heart he displays every time he fights, I'm stoked to see a lightweight title fight that doesn't involve him.  His style works, but it's not exciting to watch, in my opinion.  Maynard brought the best out of him in that third match where he finally got a finish, but aside from that he's just a point fighter whether people wanna admit that or not.

Now when I watch Edgar fight all I look forward to is seeing how he recovers from these crazy shots he takes or to see if someone can actually finish him.  Him stopping Maynard was such a draw dropping moment because I just never thought that I'd see Edgar finish a championship fight.

Call me a hater, but I like Frankie Edgar.  I just wanna see more excitement and diversity in LW championship fights.
