so as some of you may know derek is my best bud for life he also has a account on here if you wanna follow him anyways latest news  i got for this fight is its a week away mario has over 10 pounds to cut  the efl promoter said if he cant make weight it wont be for the title and it will be up to derek if he chooses to still fight or not and of course derek is sayin yes so ill keep you  guys updated hope its a title fight derek is really pumped to defend that title  ipersonally dont thin k derek should fight guy cant make weight  shouldnt happen hes missed weight already twice with our camp nothing against him hes a great guy but i think he should be at 155 Lol but yea ill keep you guys informed on this fight as it comes closer btw derek is already on weight as always true athlete this might be dexters last fight too after this he is planning on goin to thailand for a year to learn some muay thai then when he comes back he will be turning pro he plans on when pro fighting at 125 or 135

That's interesting! Since the weigh-in is at 4pm on fight day it’ll be hard to cut weight and recover.

If Mario can't make weight, since they won't fight for a title will the fight be 3 rounds instead of 5?

hey guys just got back form cornwall mma and heres the news @wake if mario cant make 145 then it will be catchweight of 150 BUT!!!! the catch is mario has to weigh 150 right before his song starts so he has lot to think about if he cant make weight he gonna then have to worry bout bein exactly 150 before the fight and of course if he cant do that  sadly there will be no fight  i was just with derek hes 142 which is perfect gives him room to eat a lil something tommorw before weigh ins n yea if he cant make 145 then it will be 3 rounds  but lets hope its title fight so we dont no what to expect yet but derek is ready been listening to his walkout song all day james brown payback haha hes pumped but this is all form the promoter i got this news i guess mario contacted them said hes havin hard time loosin the weight so well have to wait and see

Lost the decision last night against Mario pereira, was a fun war to be apart of and he got the better end of it but it was a hell of a fight, 5 rounder in the cage. Looking forward to getting back into the gym asap and improving my game plus help my teammates get ready for their Hybrid card in mid September.
