Every time I wanna go for Kongo he seems to disappoint me plus he is facing an opponent who's ten years younger than him which is definitely a factor, but I am thinking Kongo will prolly pull out a decision here he does have an 8 inch reach advantage and that could give him a significant distance if he can use the range to his advantage.

Kongo has better wins, a significant reach advantage, and a strong overall game. I worry, though, that his chin was taken by the punishment he took from Barry and Hunt.

Kongo is a great striker, but he's always had problems defending himself. Even with Kongo's huge reach advantage I don't see him winning this fight. In the past, anyone that just wasn't afraid of him, rushed him, and knocked him out. With the power Jordan possesses, he should be able to put Kongo to sleep easily.

Prior to getting KTFO'd by Mark Hunt, Kongo was actually starting to string together some pretty good wins. Jordan just doesn't seem to be in the same league as Kongo IMHO.

I hate picking fights where both guys have unimpressive chins and powerful hands, its basically a guessing game, but I'm counting on Kongo's experience and strategy to get him a win. (I won't be shocked if Jordan gets a T/KO, though)

Surprised at how tight the betting odds are on this one. I think Kongo's got the pretty solid advantage here (but I thought that against Mark Hunt too, so what do I know). Stat breakdown for this fight: http://www.breakdownfights.com/?p=3748

@RockZ Kongo's strategy?? Like standing with Mark Hunt?

Kongo will rock Jordan, rush in for the finish and get dropped like a sack of ****! We will all then bask in the irony that is Kongo being on the end of what Pat Barry had to endure!

Im going with the young lion here. Kongo is a fading star; and his chin has shown weakness. He will underestimate Jordan here and get served with a knockout.

@jaff I don't know why I said that, I think when I talk MMA I'm always out of it a bit for some reason, but here's what I think:
Jordan has been KO'd twice by virtual no-namers. Kongo has been tko'd twice by two heavy-handed notables, and seems to recover well once dropped, or at least hang in there, albeit with one foot on a banana peel. Kongo should take this, especially since he is taller and has a big reach/experience advantage. But hey, with two sub-par chins and four packs of HW TNT, who knows.

@cal1 I think he has more KOs left, but how many more he can take is the problem. Plus, the dude's 37, he is doin good, though

This is heavyweight guys. Any heavyweight who connects on the button can put the other guy to sleep, it's hard to determine who has a great chin or not but I wouldn't call either guy weak chinned.

Jordan got KO'd earlier in his career but has also taken huge shots from Lavar Johnson and Thompson and smiled. Kongo has been getting rocked a lot more in his more recent fights, I am tending to think his chin may be going as he is getting up there in age as well.

Jordan has also improved dramatically since moving to Jackson's after the Devin Cole fight. And he could turn this into a wrestling match if need be. I think he's more then capable of taking Kongo down.
