...but you always cheer for them anyway.

Mine is definitely Sakara. I know he'll never make that jump to greatness, but I just gotta' love the guy.

Every time he has a chance to reach contender status, he falls short.

Mine is probably Sam Stout.  He's from a town an hour east of me, and he always put on exciting, if a bit predictable, fights.  He racks up FOTN bonuses like he owes some scary people a lot of money, and is always fun to watch.  However, he's probably never going to break past being a mid-level lightweight, and is probably in for a tough road ahead in the crowded LW division.  Still, he's a favourite of mine, and I'll always enjoy watching his fights.

Jason Mayhem Miller - great fighter, exciting to watch and he is absolutely hilarious. Unfortunatly with his dec loss to sheilds and the fact that Hendo is the Strikeforce champion, seriously limits Mayhem's chances of capturing the Strikeforce strap before the major contracts run out and it is esentially absorbed by the UFC. I am also pretty sure Mayhem dosent have the greatest relationship with Dana so I don't necessarily making the jump to UFC anytime soon.

Mayhem is another favorite. I think he has too much power to put asses in seats for Zuffa to just let him go when the big merge happens.

My favourites tend to be the best fighters, they have the better skills, which is always more fun to watch.

Seems like most of my favourite fighters are either great or have the potential to be great someday.  My favourite fighters are guys like Anderson Silva, Rashad Evans, Chuck Liddell, Jon Jones, Alistair Overeem, Matt Mitrione, Nick Diaz, etc.  All of these guys (aside from Chuck obviously) are either at the top or have the potential to get there, including Matt Mitrione.

I'd have to say Kendall Grove.  He's probably my favorite TUF alum (his fight with Ed Herman for the contract was one of the best ever).  He asked for Maia, wanting to step up and got completely handled.

I was excited to see H.A. and Kimbo throw down and then Houston just ran in circles. Possibly #1 on my list of fights that came no where near the hype.

On board with @TheMope.  Sanchez is game.  He looked like this and the doc's the one who made him stop.

@oldmangloom, i recall seeing a gif of that fight where they both just stop fighting and begin to breathe heavily. that belongs nowhere in the UFC.
