Guillard is an impressive fighter on the feet, but the second he gets on his back he becomes incredibly vunerable to submissions which think may give Camoes the edge.

I will laugh my ass off if Guillard gets RNC'd again. I don't think it'll happen, but his submission defense is as porous as can be. I used to be a fan, but it seems like he just doesn't give a **** about getting better on the mat. I expect him to pick up a KO, and get back on track, though.

I also think Guillard breaks easy (for a high level pro), he hasn't withstood pressure very well in any fights that I recall. He just goes into quit mode.

But they had me amped up about this new, EVOLVED a-a-and MATURED Melvin Guillard that I picked him lol

Problem with Guillard is you never know if he is going to show up with his gameface on until he is in the ring. Makes it hard as hell to figure out if he is gonna win.

Picked a fellow Louisianimal, but i wouldnt be suprised if he gets tapped with a RNC. He seems to not know how to defend those. If J Low can tap him, im sure this guy can if he gets his back..

yeah, i'm pretty sure he's been a blue belt for a while. and i think his judo base is part of the reason why he's hard to take down. he just has bad sub defense when he's on the ground.

I hate picking Guillard fights. It seems like anyone with decent sub skills will submit him, but these people are also capable of being KO'd, you might as well flip a coin because you can't really brag if you call it right because of the huge amount of chance. Anyway, I think Guillard will come in more cautiously than usual but with just as much power and once again get close to the title and lose footing. I'm not knocking Camoes though, I know he has potential and if he gets the sub or decision he'll push himself closer to the top.
