It is a crime that this fight both didn't receive fight of the year and didn't have a live crowd. The crowd was so dead after Gaethje/Chandler that they couldn't get excited about the absolute mayhem that happened in this fight. Shane Burgos has a good chance of going down as the most consistently entertaining fighter in UFC history, and I hope that this fight, as overshadowed as it is, will go down as his magnum opus of carnage. I miss you Shane Burgos, why did you go to PFL?

If all the fights on this list were judged by a single round, then this fight would have gotten fight of the year. Round one of this fight was pure insanity that saw both men nearly get KO'd multiple times. However, despite how good round 1 was, the fight kind of died down afterwards. Rounds 2 and 3 had only one major highlight each, and those were Chandler getting knocked down and Chandler's big power double leg respectively. Don't get me wrong, this fight is still REALLY good, but I do think it is a tad bit overrated, and is also guilty of the crime of robbing all possible crowd engagement from the #1 fight on this list.
