   Not too much to say, one of the most well rounded fighters in all of MMA. I don't see him losing at Welterweight for a long time..

   Hopefully he recovers from his injuries soon, and comes back and gets some wins and (more importantly) some finishes.

   Koscheck is an excellent wrestler, but GSP showed a gaping hole in Koscheck's game, and that is his striking. His only weapon on the feet is his overhand right, and if he doesn't catch his opponent with that, he has nothing standing up.

   32-14-0

   Condit has more heart than anyone else in the division. He's coming off a great win over Dong Hyun Kim.

   BJ looked good against Fitch, a win over Condit will probably get him a title shot.

   Thiago Alves

   Got out stalled by the bedtime Story, but he'll be back. He's to skilled to stay outside of the top 5 for long.

   I'm glad the Shields experiment is over. Somehow Zuffa fooled everyone into believing he had some sort of chance against GSP. He didn't. Now he's fighting Ellenberger. This will be a beatdown. (Shields will be on the receiving end)

   He beat Sanchez.

   Nick Diaz

   Good cardio and a good chin will do enough to help him beat up the second rate welterweights in Strikeforce, but he will lose to any solid wrestler, or good striker with a gas tank.

    Big props to Brenneman for beating Story on a day's notice.

    After his "win" over Alves, Story got outwrestled by Brenneman. I have him ranked below Alves because although the judges said he won the fight, he took a beating and didn't deserve it. He has also accomplished much less than Alves in his career.

    Dong Hyun Kim

    "Stun Gun"  |  22-4-1, 1 NC

    Kim is one of the best grapplers in the WW division. His striking is lacking, but he makes up for it with great judo and wrestling.

    Absolutely great performance against Diaz.

    Won a gift decision over Kampmann, but he will probably get a step up in competition. I don't see him beating anyone in the top 10.

    Thiago is a very skilled fighter, but he got edged out by Sanchez and he got beat pretty handily by Kampmann. He needs to improve, and he has the potential to do so, if he wants to get back into the top 10. I expect/hope he will look spectacular in his next fight.

    Crazy KO over Pierson... damn. A win over Shields puts him in the top 10.

    Askren is one of the best wrestlers in MMA. He lacks a good striking game, but he mixes his BJJ and wrestling very fluently, and it works well. Bellator has a stacked Welterweight tournament coming up, and the winner of it can certainly present challenges for Askren.

    Burst onto the scene with his highly entertaining win over Lytle, then he had a great win over Hallman.

    Hughes was on a great win streak until he met BJ Penn. He has the skills to stay a somewhat relevant gatekeeper, but Hughes probably won't want that, and should retire after a fight or two.

    Diaz likes to taunt, even when he's losing handily. It was refreshing to see Macdonald toss him around.

    Great performance against Johnson, changed the minds of a lot of doubters.

    Serra didn't look great against Lytle. He has good Jiu-jitsu and solid striking, but he may be getting old. He did, however, knock Frank Trigg out in the first round.

    Great opening fight in Bellator.

    Pierce has great wrestling, and could be a real threat in the UFC in the future.

    Cyborg has put together a solid set of wins since refining his style, including a ko win over Marius Zaromskis. He could be a real threat at welterweight in strikeforce.

    Bummer loss against Ebersole. Apparently he had some sort of injury, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, but I guess we'll have to wait and see if it was that or his age that made him look less than stellar.

    His career is on a downslide, and he could get cut from the UFC with just one more loss.
