  1. 1

    Fedor Emelianenko vs. Mirko Filipović
    Emelianenko vs. Filipović
    Fedor Emelianenko | Decision
    2005 | Pride Final Conflict 2005
The fight itself wasn't exactly amazing. The buildup alone makes it one of the most anticipated heavyweight fights in mixed martial arts history.
  2. 2

Fedor Emelianenko vs. Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira I
    Emelianenko vs. Nogueira I
    Fedor Emelianenko | Decision
    2003 | Pride 25
The fight was epic because of the revolutionary ground-and-pound that Emelianenko exhibited and the heart that Nogueira displayed.
  3. 3

    Brock Lesnar vs. Shane Carwin
    Lesnar vs. Carwin
    Brock Lesnar | Submission | Round 2
    2010 | UFC 116
The buildup was nearly akin to that of the Emelianenko-Filipovic fight, and it delivered with Carwin dropping Lesnar early but expending his energy for the rest of the round beating on Lesnar. The referee did not stop it, and Carwin was exhausted going into the second round. This factor allowed Lesnar to easily take Carwin down to secure a submission victory via arm-triangle choke.
  4. 4

    Brock Lesnar vs. Cain Velasquez
    Lesnar vs. Velasquez
    Cain Velasquez | KO/TKO | Round 1
    2010 | UFC 121
The fight was the same as the Carwin fight, with Velasquez hurting Lesnar badly early. Fortunately, Josh Rosenthal wasn't reffing this fight however. And Lesnar was finished.
  5. 5

    Fedor Emelianenko vs. Kevin Randleman
    Emelianenko vs. Randleman
    Fedor Emelianenko | Submission | Round 1
    2004 | Pride Critical Countdown 2004
Emelianenko survived a highlight-reel suplex slam from Randleman to secure a submission victory via kimura.
