What if Ken Shamrock never used steroids, evolved in his training, stayed at HW and avoided weight-cuts, and had the modesty to believe he needed to keep improving instead of stagnating?
What if Royce Gracie never took time off after the UFC and believed he needed to develop some striking and wrestling?
What if Bruce Lee had been born around 1972 instead of dying around then?
What if all the pro wrestlers never took steroids, and decided to start training for real in cross-disciplines and developed MMA a long time ago?
What if the entire country of China started training for MMA in earnest and devoted the same resources to MMA as they did to gymnastics and diving and ping-pong?
What if all the black boxers decided to train for MMA and leave boxing?
What if I were suddenly capable of offering coherent, innovative MMA concepts?

Would he have won tourneys? Would he have had a long MMA career? How would referee's have evolved if he had instead been a fighter?
