The UFC "matchmaker" is more like "recordbooster" for some fighters.

What about Joe Silva?

I think "shorty" does a good job for the most part...

I'd say the UFC does a pretty good job at making sure the fights that are scheduled either fighter can win the fight...You do end up with exceptions to the rule, but for the most part most fights could go either way

He's solid but he really blew it with the Fox main card.

Joe Silva is the MAN!!! He's made a few **** bomb cards before but you gotta understand his position. It's always tough finding respectable late replacements due to injury and all the like. He does a fantastic job IMO.

Joe Silva probably had very little to do with the Fox main card.  And regardless, it can be very unpredictable how a fight will play out.

Also, Bisping/Sonnen was a pretty solid fight. The fact that it was sandwiched in between 2 slow decisions makes it seem like the whole main card was just slow decisions.  But mix Sonnen/Bisping into a more exciting fight card and I think a lot of people would be praising it and asking for it to have gone 2 more rounds.

Joe Silva brought us Diaz vs. Cerrone now NICK Diaz vs. Carlos Condit. He's good in my book.
