I grew up in Northern MN before to moving to Hutchinson. It's about 250 miles north of the Minneapolis. It would get 60 degrees below zero sometimes up there.I wrestled  in high school and college, now I work in the one of the largest medical labs in the country.

Yeah, here in Portugal we are a growing mma community.

I influenced some of my friends to be fans of the sport.

My second favorite sport, with football being first (soccer for you lol)

I know you don't like football very much, but its the Big thing in Europe.

I was born & raised in Detroit, Michigan but now I live in Highland Park, Michigan. A former suburb that's pretty much smack dab in the middle of Detroit. I'm currently unemployed and finishing up my Associates degree in IT. I'll be starting my Bachelors studies for IT Security in October.

Yes, there seems to be some link between MN and OR in academics. It seems like there are a lot of professors from OR here and ones from MN there. I have a couple of cousins that live in Portland, as a matter of fact.

my main professor did his undergrad there at UM and is now a leader in Climate Change work internationally.  got some smart people up there.  Is that a result of the cold ass winters and not being able to do much outside????
