@Poir not at all...I actually think he decided if he's got to fight a wrestler next and he can get either Woodley or GSP why not go get that money thats gonna be associated with a GSP fight

exactly, so he's not really dodging a wrestler then! =)

I'm just saying he has as much a right as Fitch to be on the list you made, basically I'm arguing with justyn lol but he hasnt answered back yet

@poir well i have 3 examples i can think of about Diaz going out of his way to not fight wrestlers.
1) The first SF WW title fight was supposed to be Nick Diaz vs Jay Hieron. Diaz decided not to go to the pre fight drug test so he wasn't sanctioned by the state athletic commission.
2) T Wood was next in line for a title shot so he started talking about going to go box. Maybe cause he didn't wanna fight T wood maybe cause he REALLY just wanted to go to the UFC. ONlY Nick Diaz knows! haha
3) He was supposed to fight GSP when he first came to the UFC and dissapeared not only did the UFC and Dana White not know where he was but his brother Nate Diaz and coach Ceaser Gracie didn't either.
And sorry for not being on till now to argue with you lol
And @soccer well i understand that there are alot of Nick Diaz fans but there isn't a person on this planet that can honestly put him on the list of best WW's ever. But he's out now so it's ok =) haha

Well that's 3 examples out of a 33 fight career, I'll give you #1 and possibly #2 but I really don't think he is trying to duck GSP.  You also made the point of him only having one top ten finish, but looking at Fitch's record I would argue that he only has 1 top ten finish as well, Thiago Alves (although he beat him twice).

Well I mean you could argue that Paulo Thiago and Diego Sanchez were both top tens at the time or borderline as well. But i do understand what you mean.
But you guys were saying Diaz was number 2 before he even beat BJ! haha
But can you name one other wrestle Diaz has fought? Cause i can't atleast not of the top of my head, and you gotta think he has something to do with that.

fair enough but what will it take for you to consider him a good fighter? If he beats Condit? or does he have to beat GSP?

I realize his attitude is what makes some people not like him, I cant stand Sonnen but I realize he is a good fighter

He fought sean sherk, I would say he's a pretty good wrestler, and he did lose that fight but it was quite awhile ago. He trains with Jake Shields I would assume that can only help you against other wrestlers.

Too bad Nick was matched up with Fitch in the first round. Just an awful style matchup. I think Nick is very good, but Jon Fitch's lay-n-pray beats him because Fitch doesn't like to posture up, making it nearly impossible for Nick to get a sub at any point.

As far as Diaz is concerned, I think he beats plenty of people. Really active wrestlers are in danger of Nick's jiu-jitsu. However, the smothering style wrestlers won't posture up enough to allow submission attempts. That's why I voted for Fitch. Just a horrible matchup for Diaz, especially since it was the first round.

@poir I think Nick is good. I think now he is a top 10 WW but as of now i would say it is fair to say he stand somewhere between 8 and 5 and anything else doesn't make sense to me.
i honestly do think he is a good fighter but not even near as good as people have made him out to be. He is in no way the number 2 WW and that is just me being honest personal feelings aside.
But to answer your question if he beats Condit i will most likely rank him 3 because i think Kos is probably still ahead of him on the list. But until he beats GSP he isn't number one and that's just a fact haha
I don't doubt that he has ALOT of talent but the way some of you guys talk about him on here just doesn't make any sense.
But for the most part i don't buy into the hype of people I.E. Gilbert Melendez, Jake Shields, etc.
And yes i really do not like that entire camp haha

well bomar just a month or two ago you were saying Nick was nowhere near top 10 and that ANYONE with even decent wrestling would beat his ass. See how stupid that sounds even compared to what you just said about Diaz?

Anyone with decent wrestling can take Diaz down and keep him there. Question is if they can survive his guard. Thought I'd just say that.

@Minotauro I can understand, because of Saku's legendary status. I know Ace would beat him, but it makes sense that people can think Saku would win, if only for his legend.
