Lucas Fernando, SUB, R1
Almeida is a pretty legit kickboxer but he's giving up reach, experience and age to Fernando. He's only fought in MMA three times in the last seven years. Of course, he could get a big KO, but Fernando is, by far, the best guy he's ever fought; and I don't think that bodes well for him. Lucas has more paths to victory and way more weapons. Fernando ITD.

Grad seems like the kind of guy who will lose here and get picked up by PFL or something. I was originally taking Grad, but the size and activity of Nolan will be a huge advantage.
Machado vs. Szaflarski
Kevin Szaflarski, DEC
Machado is more dangerous but something tells me he's doomed to be upset. Szaflarski has the size and style to drag this out, and I think it will allow him to make this an ugly fight.
Talbott vs. Cortez

Was originally picking Talbott, but I'm gonna go against my better judgement. Cortez is more experienced and possibly the more technical/versatile fighter, which could prevail for him against a green opponent like Talbott.
Borjas vs. Dias
Victor Dias, SUB, R1
I think this has potential to be exciting. Borjas is an explosive striker with nasty kicks, knees and elbows. Dias is the more experienced man, and has a strong grappling base. I've been proven wrong many times by these Peruvian fighters, but Dias feels like the likely winner.

Cesar Almeida , SUB, R1
the fighter I think with the best future looks to be Brazil’s Lucas Fernando . He has a tough matchup in Cesar Almeida, a Glory veteran who will test Fernando’s striking. We may see more of Fernando’s grappling here.
Best Fight: Cortez-Talbott
Talbott and Cortez love to bang on the feet and don’t like to take steps back. If this one goes to decision, I’d be surprised. That being said, while this fight lasts, it will be a dog fight that should be among the most entertaining fights of the first half of the season.

Payton Talbott, TKO, R1
Speaking of Payton Talbott, not only is he going to be in the best fight of the episode, but I think he’s the dark horse on the entire episode.
