This is a really interesting fight with high stakes. I imagine if Predrag wins, with a 15-0 record, 2 weight champ, and a win over a very good ufc vet, that the ufc will sign him. However, I don’t think Predrag is ready for a step up like this. Now, he’s shown a lot & has a ton of experience, but the main thing that’s been holding Predrag back, is his lack of finishing ability. Sometimes that indicates a lack in skill level (and it is a little concerning here because he’s fighting a lot of guys he should be easily finishing) but also, the ufc doesn’t like guys who go to decisions a lot. Now, prazeres is very underrated. He’s super undersized for the division but makes it work. He’s a very high level grappler with lots of high level experience. He’s also now on the sauce which helps a lot. I think he shows his vet experience & ragdolls Predrag. Considering Predrag is a grappler, I’m really not sure he can outgrapple the 2nd degree black belt with tons of ufc experience. Really hope I get proven wrong tho, Predrag is a beast and it would be nice to have a Serbian contender in the ufc. If he beats prazeres, you gotta think this guy could be a serious contender
Nicholson vs. Ignacio

Good name for Ignacio to have on his resume. He’s improved a lot; used to be pretty bad & not a finisher, but now he’s been fighting more aggressively and getting fights. He is the brother of Johnny walker & I think h th e ufc will sign him to dwcs with a win. Nicholson is a good vet, but he is a brawler & can’t take punches very well anymore
Sekulić vs. Oliveira

This is a really difficult fight to call since both are very washed. Cowboys falloff has been sad. He’s basically just turned into your average Brazilian journeyman. His chin and gas tank isn’t the same & he’s just slowed down a ton recently. His most recent fight was painful; he got drawn into a brawl with a sub par fighter, death gassed after 2 minutes, and got ko’ed against the fence. Then on the other hand we have sekulic. Sekulic had an unfortunate ufc run that ended on a robbery loss. Since then, he rounded off a few wins & then his career took a downturn. Fialho knocked him out stiff & seems to have taken whatever chin sekulic used to have. Now, sekulic gets ko’ed by partially blocked shots. He finally snapped the L streak but it was overturned by a corrupt commissions. Gonna go with cowboy because he has more of a chin that sekulic does at this point. However, if this turns into a brawl cowboy will fade quixk
Zvijer vs. Orolbay

Orolbay looked really good in his lfa figbt. First real person he fought & looked very good. Wrestling heavy game but has good striking as well. This Serbian guy seems like a can crusher. He better have good grappling too because orolbay is a dominant wrestler
Kučinič vs. Kuziutina

Kuziutina has a deceptive record. She’s new to mma, but was a very high level judoka & has Olympic experience. Her lone loss was to Fatima Kline who is a top tier prospect. In that fight, she actually didn’t do half bad, was just outmatched against Kline who is a total beast. Natasha is older, but doesn’t have a lot of milage. Also, a strong judo base is a cheat code in wmma; most girls cannot stop head and arm throws nor do they know how to defend the scarfhold position. I expect natasha to win this, then maybe get 1-2 more fights in lfa or some other u.s. promotion, then make a push for ufc or bellator
Lekić vs. Abega Gautier

No idea what to expect here so I’ll be the contrarian. Both guys can crushers. From what I can see Lekic trains with dusko and has a freestyle wrestling background. Idek who wins tho
Dimić vs. Melikyan

Melikyan may have the flashy record & was rumored to be on dwcs last year, but he is a fraud. All his wins are against debutants & he’s fighting in promotions I’ve never even heard of. The first real guy he faced whooped his ass. Dimic doesn’t seem like anything special but he’s got some decent wins against real people, which is enough for me to pick him
Puerta vs. Sirbu

On paper this shouldn’t be close, but I worry it will be. Puerta is a can crusher & has looked really bad ever since his dwcs fight. Lost to a subpar fighter in uae warriors, then choked in a fight he was winning against yuma. However, he should be better than this Moldovan guy
