This is not necessarily a greatest fighters of all time ranking. I'm just curious as to whom you guys think had the most dominant peaks in the history of mixed martial arts.

He isn't on my list b/c I chose to go with champions who made runs... or held titles in multiple weight classes while doing so.

I'm surprised Kid Yamamoto isn't on the lists I've viewed. The guy was a ******* beast before he wrecked his arm doing freestyle wrestling olympic trials. That along with his game degrading as he got older definitely screwed his career, but for a 6 year period he was unbeatable, only losing by TKO(cut) becoming the top featherweight in the world and (if I remember correct) was a P4P top 10 fighter.

I need 4 more contributors........so I'm bumping this with some sweet sweet Arianny action.
Also, I see Miguel Torres absent on the consensus rankings. What are Topology's thoughts on his career?

Since I saw a few people bumping their rankings, I thought "why not harass people with mine." And now here we are. Only need 40 measly submissions to get the 100 contributors ribbon.

With the emergence of Mighty Mouse at Flyweight, the hiatus of GSP, and the termination of Anderson Silva's reign, a lot has happened in the 2+ years since I have last bumped this ranking. My opinions have changed, and thus, the parameters for which I created my personal list reflect that. Let me know what you guys think.

Fedor for sure. He beat two guys who were crushing everyone else at the time(crocop and big nog 2x) and he did it with ease. Anderson did beat a lot of good fighters but he showed how he could be stopped by a guy who kept his cool. GSP was dominant but never took chances and I feel he lost to Hendricks and possibly BJ in their first bout.

Chael Sonnen owned the MMA world and all UFC media from 2009 to most of 2010. Truly a golden age.

Shame we can't put any WMMA fighters. Ronda is the epitome of dominant. The only time she was in any trouble, she still got a first round finish.
