6-1 Pettis, definitely closer than the last ones since Roy opened up, I didn't really pay attention to the early part TBH since I was starstruck from the Commenator's dumbass unofficial scorecard

Crazy when the best fight was probably either Vitor Belfort v. Jacare Souza or honestly Pearl Gonzalez v. Gina Mazany really put it on eachother.

Is it bias or is it knowing how boxing is scored.  Yeah Anthony threw more but that doesn’t matter if you don’t land, which unless he was going to the body he didn’t.  Technically a punch that touches the gloves, even if it gets through after, isn’t supposed to score.  Pettis was rarely landing shots and when Roy decided to throw he was.  I mean I can’t necessarily call it a robbery because even though I had it 77-75 Roy I could easily see 77-75 Pettis, but 78-74?  No.  Not how boxing works.

If you had Roy winning, your opinion is instantly rendered invalid.

No argument for such a bad scorecard...

Except it's not, that's the point.  If you had it any wider than 77-75 for either guy then you are wrong and don't know how to score boxing fights

Obviously not if you had Roy Jones winning lmao need to go back to class... stick to scoring influencer boxing matches

Cope harder Anthony Pettis with a very easy win over Roy Jones😎🤴

Anyone who knows boxing scoring would say the same thing.  The only people who think Pettis won in the way you do are MMA fans who don’t know boxing scoring.  Same reason why the average fan scoring on BoxRec is 77-75 Roy.  Again.  If the punch hits the gloves it is not a scoring punch.  Almost every punch Pettis threw that wasn’t to the body did exactly that.  Hell even MMAFighting.com has Roy 78-74 (which is still a bad score).

There where several bouts tonight where the 10second mark did not match that of what was shown on television.  I was at the live venue in the audience, so I am fairly certain that threw several views off watching it on television at home.
